A Civilian defence worker has admitted trying to smuggle heroin into Britain from Afghanistan on a military flight.
Michael Doig, 24, was caught with the drug at Kandahar Airport on June 11.
A spokesman for HM Courts Service said Doig appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates Court in west London yesterday.
He pleaded guilty to attempting to smuggle heroin at the passenger handling facility at Kandahar Airport.
